FULL RENOVATION OF A FLAT IN POBLENOU

Reform of a house located in the Poblenou de Barcelona, ​​on a farm of the early twentieth century with an original plant with three very different and unrelated areas.

To adapt the housing to the requirements of the new tenants, we adopt a very clear and simple strategy: connect the three new spaces (day zone, night zone and auxiliary stay zone) through an open distributor and keep the view from the outside from All dots of the house.

To strengthen the concept of homogenization and communication between spaces, a traditional tile enameled blank and with a natural finish of the terracotta in various areas (bathrooms, kitchen, hall) is applied; The arrangement of the pieces is varied in each case to obtain different drawings that give themselves of singularity and identity in each area.

The windows are merged with recovered original brick wall fragments and painted tile cloths that, in turn, refers us to the natural terracotta finish of the ceramic coating used.
